Thank you for visiting Farm For The City. While the Farm has closed, you can join the effort to support community gardens all year long. Please pledge your support by becoming a Friend of the Gardens today. We will keep you up to date on ways to get involved and contribute to their enormous impact on neighborhoods across Philadelphia.
Created with major support from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Farm for the City highlights the role community gardeners play in strengthening neighborhoods and the gardens' positive impact on some of the most pressing issues facing our communities, such as food insecurity. The interactive exhibit and working farm invite the public to learn more about community gardening through free workshops, public forums, and activities during the growing season.
